Pablo Macías es cineasta documental y realizador independiente, como proveedor audiovisual brinda servicios de realización integral, desde la conceptualización de la idea, a la grabación y postproducción.
La Vida Perra, su primer largometraje documental, ha sido reconocido como Mejor Largometraje Documental en el Festival Nuevo Cine Andaluz y Mejor Largometraje de No Ficción en la 31 edición de los Premios de la Asociación de Escritores Andaluces ASECAN (donde también estuvo nominado como Mejor Director Novel y Mejor Fotografía, a Mejor Música, Soledad Villalba). Su segundo documental, el cortometraje (A)plomo (Pablo Macías y Soledad Villalba 2021), obtiene la Biznaga al Mejor Cortometraje Documental Sección Oficial Málaga, en el 24 Festival de Málaga, siendo también nominado como Mejor Cortometraje Documental en los premios de la Academia del Cine Andaluz Premios Carmen 2022. Es miembro de DOCMA y la Mesa del Documental Andaluz.
Trabaja como realizador freelance y es responsable de cobertura audiovisual del Así Fue del Festival de Cine de Málaga, Moments Festival, Málaga de Festival (MaF), Festival Abierto de Jazz y Suma Festival, también realiza spots y cobertura audiovisual para el Museo Picasso Málaga, entre otros.
Colabora con artículos y relatos en la publicación literaria tangerina Sures o con crónicas y reseñas para la revista Staf Magazine. También ha colaborado con medios especializados como Rock de Lux.

Currently he is also responsible for audiovisual coverage at the Malaga Film Festival, Veinte Veces Pablo Museo Picasso Málaga, Málaga Festival (MaF), Festival Abierto de Jazz, Moments Festival, Suma Festival and International Jazz Day, among others.
He collaborates as an editor with articles and stories in the tangerine literary publication Sures or with chronicles and reviews for the online magazine Staf Magazine. As a concert and festival photographer he has collaborated with specialized media such as Rock de Lux.
